Brunsdon Studio is an internationally recognised architecture practice led by Nic Brunsdon. The studio undertakes select residential, hospitality, cultural, and adaptive reuse commissions across Australia and South-East Asia. Its work is defined by clear ideas, material precision and a strong relationship to place.
Brunsdon Studio is B Corp certified, meeting verified standards for social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. The studio has received major recognition in Australia and internationally, including awards from the World Architecture Festival, Dezeen Awards, LOOP Design Awards and the Australian Institute of Architects, together with the 2023 National Gallery of Victoria Architecture Commission.
Leadership
Nic Brunsdon, Principal
Nic Brunsdon is an internationally awarded architect and Principal of Brunsdon Studio. He also serves as the City Architect for the City of Perth through a part-time civic appointment held alongside his architectural practice.
Across more than 25 years, his work has moved between architectural practice, planning, government, design review and urban strategy, with projects across Australia and Southeast Asia.
His architectural work is defined by narrative and clarity, creating buildings and places with a distinct identity, a deep relationship to context and the capacity to leave a lasting cultural and spatial impact.
